Isn’t the Bible full of errors?
Even though the Bible was written by 40 different authors over a 1600 year period of time, all of the 40 authors agree with each of the other 39. If you examine the pages of the Bible, you will see dozens of “cross references” on every page – these markings “cross reference” to other parts of the Bible that say the very same thing, so that all of scripture is in harmony with itself!
That’s really something when you consider the hundreds of controversial topics the Bible addresses – consider the “generation gap” we have today in just two and three generations, much less forty!
Most writers even quoted other Biblical writers to help make their point – this is because the Biblical writers were “inspired” (moved along the way) by the Holy Spirit of God to write what they did. The Bible continues to be supported by the finds of archaeologists; no Biblical fact has ever been proven false by archaeologists.

Doesn’t the Bible contradict with science?
There really are two ways to prove that something is true or false. The first way is the one everyone thinks of first – the scientific method. This method says that if we can repeat the experiment under the exact same conditions and get the same result every time, the theory must be true. And since we can’t duplicate the miraculous events of the Bible, it must be false. But, there’s another method of proof – the legal-historical method. That method says that if enough different people all independently write the same thing about the same event, it’s hard to argue with. A person could not use the scientific method to prove they got up at 6:30 this morning and were at work by 8am, because they couldn’t go back in time and repeat the experiment. But they could use the legal-historical method. If enough people would testify that they had seen you, talked to you, and could pinpoint your location – and if all their testimony would agree – then a reasonable person would determine that you indeed got up this morning and showed up to work by 8am. The legal-historical method proves the Bible is true “beyond a reasonable doubt” based on eyewitness and written evidence.
The real question is “Does God Exist?” If a person accepts the fact that there is an all-powerful God who is living today, then the next logical step is to accept that this almighty Creator is capable of doing almighty things. Christians know that God exists on the basis of the written record of the Bible, the evidence that supports the Bible, and God’s personal interaction in their own lives.

Aren’t all religions basically the same?
Although all religions claim a belief in a higher power, all have their own writings, and all believe in the golden rule, they are very different in what they say about evil, the after-life, and how we can relate to the higher power. In the United States, all religions have equal protection according to the U.S. Constitution. Equal protection under the law, however, does not mean equal validity. Christianity is an “objective” religion, meaning the validity depends on the “object” being worshipped...Jesus Christ. In other words, the believer’s sincerity doesn’t make his belief right or wrong; it doesn’t matter how hard he believes his religion. What matters is, how reliable is the “object” being worshipped? God’s not trying to confuse people. It just wouldn’t make sense for God to go to one part of the world and tell people one set of truths about himself, and go to a different part of the world to tell those people a totally different set of truths. If God is truth, those actions would be in contradiction to his own identity.

How can a loving God really send people to hell?
The truth is that people choose for themselves separation from God over a relationship with God. And although God really hates that choice, he allows us to make it because he values our freedom so much. The reality of hell breaks God’s heart more than it does ours. It goes against everything he ever wanted for us, since he created people in the first place to be in relationship with him. “God…wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 2:4)

Why do innocent people suffer?
How can a God of love permit such things in the world as war, sickness, pain, and death, especially when the results often are felt most keenly by those who are apparently innocent?
Some people say: either He is not a God of love and is indifferent to human suffering, or He is not a God of power and is therefore helpless to do anything about it. We must understand that the world is now under God's curse (Genesis 3:17) because of man's rebellion against God's Word. This "bondage to decay" (Romans 8:21) is universal, affecting all people everywhere. God did not create the world this way, and one day will set all things right again. In that day, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning…"(Revelation 21:4).

Isn’t the Church full of hypocrites?
Hypocrisy is one of the many sins Jesus forgives in people. The church is a place where sinners hang out, so in a church you should actually expect to see lots of examples of sin in people. But, a person who is seriously checking out Christianity should base his impressions not on people, but on Jesus Christ. In Jesus there is no hypocrisy.
