Voters' Assembly Meeting September 7th @ 11:30 am

Living Hope will have a special meeting of the Voters’ Assembly next month, after the service on Sunday September 7th, at L’Anse Creuse Middle School East. The Voters will consider the revised 2008 and the proposed 2009 budgets and ministry plan. At issue is Living Hope’s financial situation is changing rapidly. The proposed budgets call for cut backs in spending, eliminating the staff position of Director of Discipleship, requests for increased subsidy from our parent church body, and increased offerings from Living Hope members, all in order to make ends meet. Such big changes for our church will require big changes in how Living Hope does ministry so that we still stay effective in reaching out to our neighbors in our community. Members are asked to please pray daily about this. Let’s respond by Loving God, Living with Open Hands, and Locking Hands Together.

Voters are those people, age 18+, who have committed themselves to Christ and His work through Living Hope by becoming members of Living Hope.

CAN YOU HELP PACK-UP ON SUDAYS?

We are really thankful for the people who stick around and help us pack up on Sundays.  Are you interested in helping?  At 11:30am, meet Dave Murray in front of the stage in the cafeteria at Middle School East.  He will divide up the jobs among the people there, and you’ll be amazed how quickly you can pack it all up.  Never done it before?  Great!  Just come, and he’ll pair you up with someone to show you the ropes.  It’s a simple and much-needed way to be part of the Living Hope team!

Plan an event or start a ministry

GOT A GREAT IDEA for a Living Hope event or to start a ministry? We’d like to help you make the dream a reality. We have put together a planning event guide and worksheet to help walk you through the steps. It is available at the Get Connected table on Sunday mornings, and soon, it will be located on Living Hope’s web site
