Catch the Wave of God’s love!

Waves is our Sunday morning Kids’ program that meets in the Kiva (the large room off the entry hall) at Middle School East.  Waves is for kids 3 yrs-old thru 4th grade.  Waves kids join their parent(s) in the cafeteria for the start of the service, then are dismissed to go to Waves. Parents are welcome to go with their kids, or stay in the main service.

We’ve got a great video about the first Christmas video for kids while our Waves presenters and shepherds take a well-deserved week off.  Waves will resume on Sunday, January 3rd.

Waves Parents Help — We are looking for a few parents of our Waves kids to get a small thank-you gift for each of the children who participate in our “Don’t Settle for the Wrappings” Christmas service.  We’d like it to be a memorable experience for our kids.  If you want to help, email us at: info@livinghopeofthebay.org

Rapids is for students in 5th thru 8th grades.  We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am in the chorus room at Middle School East.  Rapids tackles the tough questions preteen and middle school students are asking about faith, relationships, and the choices they make every day.  We use thought-provoking videos, fun games, and deep life-changing Bible lessons.  Rapids grapples with tough issues and inspires kids to connect through the week with their very own safe and secure on-line community at mygrapple.com.  Rapids is led by our own youth-tested and church approved Jackie Norman and Rita Jensen.
