Living Hope’s Upper Room is our office and meeting center.  It’s on the 2nd floor of the Phoenix Building, on the southwest corner of 23 Mile Rd., and Chesterfield Rd.

Office hours are: 

Monday & Thursday 10am – 4pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am – 2pm

The Upper Room has wifi coffee, Christian music, and a nice atmosphere to hang out.  We have a room with couches for small group gatherings, a room for kids, and you can use it for family gatherings.  A Chronic Pain Support Group uses our Upper Room twice a month.  Just call Cindy at the church office to check if the schedule is open.

Do you have free 'stuff' to give away in or around your home? Are you looking for a particular item that another person at Living Hope might have sitting around their house?  Then join the Living Hope Freecycle group at Yahoo Groups and start "freecycling" today!  The group is open only to members and regular attenders of Living Hope, thus allowing us to share with our brothers and sisters in Christ first when looking for new homes for our special items that are taking up unnecessary space in the basement or garage.  Freecycling helps keep useful things out of landfills and benefits all of us.  Megan Rock has set up Living Hope’s Freecycle group.  Check it out at:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/livinghopefreecycle/join

Here are some service opportunities that may fit your unique abilities, skill set, and availability:

Prayer Team ~  Help us start the most powerful ministry … a ministry of plugging into God’s power and grace.  Living Hope would like to have many people praying for God’s leading and blessing on all our people and leaders.  We’d like to have prayer going on during all of our worship services.  We’d like to have an email prayer chain, and the opportunity to submit prayer needs from our web site.  We’d also like to have a few people available to pray one-on-one with people on Sundays after the worship service.  Interested in helping get this going?? Fellowship Events ~  Have fun planning some party-like events where Living Hope people can build relationships with one another.  How about a sleigh ride and barn dance in January?  Or a couples’ dinner in February?  Or an afternoon at an indoor pool for the whole family in the Spring?  Interested?  Let Pastor Paul know.
